About ACLS

For all healthcare professionals involved in the management of cardiovascular emergencies we offer ACLS initial training and certification as well as ACLS renewal classes in Seattle and the surrounding areas. Our Seattle Advanced Cardiac Life Support classes, or ACLS, are designed and approved by the American Heart Association. Taught by certified professionals, our mission is to help Seattle healthcare providers stay up to date on the latest ACLS guidelines, techniques and algorithms for major cardio-pulmonary emergencies.

With an emphasis on communication and teamwork, our instructors teach ACLS lessons in a combination of small and large groups. Case-based scenarios are enacted in simulated real time to give class participants the comprehensive knowledge they need to assess and manage cardiopulmonary arrest, cardiac arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular emergencies. Nurses, doctors, and other health professionals benefit from ACLS training taught by current practicing professionals. Our team of instructors consists of performance-based emergency medical physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, respiratory therapists, paramedics, and EMTs with a passion to teach and share their skills with other Seattle professionals.

Our involved ACLS course covers basic and advanced methods of critical care in a dynamic hands-on approach. Initial ACLS certification classes taught in Seattle are a great resource for professionals entering the healthcare field and needing ACLS certification. Our ACLS recertification classes, review the core ACLS guidelines and aim to help students gain more knowledge and confidence in procedures, as well as learn the most up to date drug indications and algorithms.

Our Seattle ACLS training classes last two days, and are most often offered on weekends. While we schedule classes in many locations around King County and the surrounding metropolitan areas, our Seattle ACLS classes are perfect for EMTs, nurses, doctors and other medical staff looking to renew or get ACLS certification in Seattle.  Renewing your ACLS certification is crucial to staying informed about the newest and best practices for assessing, intervening and managing cardio-pulmonary emergencies. Unlike other ACLS certification programs in Seattle, our classes are taught by practicing medical professionals, not just ACLS instructors. Our approach of using real time case-based scenarios encourages critical decision making and teamwork.  Working in small and large groups we encourage medical professionals to learn skills from each other and from our highly trained ACLS instructors in Seattle WA.

The culmination of all our ACLS classes in Seattle requires students to demonstrate competency on the techniques learned as well as pass a written evaluation. Updating ACLS certification can be done through one of our Seattle ACLS renewal classes. Both of our initial and renewal classes for ACLS certification in Seattle use the same hands-on style when covering this critical medical information. Students in our ACLS programs will leave with the knowledge and certification they need to continue their successful careers in the medical profession and provide quality medical care to their patients.
